'The reality is no one is safe'

It’s honestly terrible what’s going on in this city. I’m scared going home and being at home alone. I feel like I’m being watched and will get the call my parents are gone, or I am a “domestic terrorist” and taken.

We’ve been followed by ICE on the road. The reality is no one is safe. My skin color makes a group feel unsafe and they’d rather treat us like a piece of garbage than have compassion. I no longer feel safe in the country my parents came to be free and safe from their own civil war. When will the country learn we are all human, we all deserve love and compassion.
